A cabochon cut garnet, accented by pearls set into an elaborately hand engraved large centerpiece is typical of the period as it was an opulent time! Metal: 18 karat yellow gold (tested)
Gemstones: Round cabochon cut garnet measuring approximately 7.00mm in diameter. Two smaller round cabochon cut garnets adorn the "tail" of the bracelet and measure approximately 2.70mm in diameter each. The bracelet is accented by 14 half pearls.
Size: When the bracelet is fully extended to its largest opening it measures approximately 3 inches in diameter. Note that due to the age, wear and the high karat of gold the mesh bracelet does have some "kinks" in it (please see photos), however I did not detect any broken mesh or rough areas. Also note, when the bracelet is on the wrist and pulled to desired tightness the "kinks" are not noticeable.
