How cute is this....a Victorian handkerchief holder.  Victorian women would put perfume on their handkerchief, then put the handkerchief in the holder and then would put the ring usually on the litter finger. By wearing the perfumed handkerchief people would smell the perfume. You know, they didn't take baths or showers like we do today...they were few and far between so the perfume handkerchief masked any unforgiving body oder.
