This locket is truly a piece of history.  At one time it likely held a loved ones hair and/or photo.  You can wear it as a unique locket pendant.  
Metal:  Tested 9 karat.  Accented with Etruscan work and blue enamel.  **PLEASE NOTE** Some of the enamel has been worn off due to age and wear. The star sits up off the locket to create a "reverse shadow box effect."  Additionally some of the Etruscan work around the diameter of the locket is a tiny bit wavy.  
Gemstone:  Set in the center of the star is one round half pearl measuring approximately 2.00mm in diameter.
