Rare yellow gold (tested 18 karat) mesh slide bracelet.  Wearing this bracelet will immediately transport you to the Mid-Victorian era!  This bracelet from the Grand Period of the Mid-Victorian Era is classic in its design.  A cabochon cut garnet, accented by pearls set into an elaborately hand engraved large centerpiece is typical of the period as it was an opulent time!  Industry was booming and many millionaires were created in the blink of an eye!
Metal:  18 karat yellow gold (tested)
Gemstones:  Round cabochon cut garnet measuring approximately 7.00mm in diameter.  Two smaller round cabochon cut garnets adorn the "tail" of the bracelet and measure approximately 2.70mm in diameter each.  The bracelet is accented by 14 half pearls.
PLEASE NOTE:  When the bracelet is fully extended to its largest opening it measures approximately 3 inches in diameter.  Also note due to the age, wear and the high karat of gold the mesh bracelet does have some "kinks" in it (please see photos), however I did not detect any broken mesh or rough areas.   ALSO NOTE that when the bracelet is on the wrist and pulled to desired tightness the "kinks" are not noticeable.
