To me this pin screams elegance!  It reminds me of Hollywood Royalty or British Royalty (pretty much the same these days).  The diamonds form the crown with white gold "sashes" flowing from the "bottom" of the crown.  This brooch would look stunning on a jacket lapel or as a pendant.
