14 karat yellow gold blue sapphire Victorian pin.  Set in the center is one round faceted blue sapphire weighing 1.36 carats (electronic scale weight).  The sapphire is considered to be intense moderate blue in hue.  The pin is beautiful with its ornately scrolled mounting.  Measuring approximately 2-3/4 inches in length the pin is secured by a locking safety clasp.  Circa: Late Victorian
